The food here is definitely nice. Everything tastes good and satisfies that hotpot craving, though it’s a standard solid meal rather than anything absolutely mind-blowing.

The highlight was definitely the service. The staff is very "on the ball"—they kept a close eye on our table and refilled the soup as soon as it started getting low without us even having to ask.

Just a note that this is ala-carte style, not a buffet. It averages around RM68 per person, which does feel a bit pricey compared to your typical all-you-can-eat spots.

Also, the sauce bar isn't complimentary. There’s an additional charge of roughly RM2 to RM2.50 for the sauces, so just a little heads-up for your final bill!

🍲 RM68 for Hotpot? 

Finally tried the famous Papa’s Egg Tart and honestly, it’s just average only. The taste is not bad, but there’s no "wow" factor that makes it stand out from any other tart. I’d give it a solid 6.5/10—it's a decent snack to grab if you’re nearby and hungry, but definitely not something worth driving all the way for. If you want a quick bite it's fine, but don't expect too much lah

Me and my friends finally tried the Sushi King Ramadan promotion! It’s a buffet style, but take note that it’s limited to the specific items on their promotion menu. 🍱🙌

The sushi quality is actually quite decent, I’d give it a solid 7-8/10. It’s exactly what you expect from a good sushi session—fresh enough to satisfy those cravings without being over-the-top. 🍣🥢

The only downside is that this promotion doesn't include any dessert, so you might need to head elsewhere for your sweet fix! 🍦❌

Still, the environment was comfortable for our group, making it a great spot for a casual session to eat together and catch up. If you’re looking for a worth-it buffet for your next Iftar, this is a solid choice! 👯‍♀️🔥

Ramadan Sushi Buffet? Yes please! 🍣🌙✨

French Fries with Cheesy Mayo: undisputed MVP of the night! They are super crispy and the sauce is so addictive, easily earning a solid 8/10.

Taro Mochi Panna Cotta: a letdown despite the decent yam taste. While it pairs okay with the vanilla ice cream, the mochi itself is tasteless and way too hard to enjoy. (4/10)

Drinks: quite a hit-or-miss. The Milk Tea basically tastes like plain milk with no tea aroma at all, and the Sour Four Season just wasn't sweet or sour enough to be special. (4/10 & 5/10)

Verdict: Come for the fries and the environment, but maybe skip the desserts and tea for now! 🚶‍♂️💨

The aesthetic is 10/10 with all the vintage vinyls and old-school decor—serious time machine vibes. 🎞️✨ Definitely try their Matcha Meets Strawberry; the chocolatey-berry combo is so padu and not too sweet! Perfect place to chill, browse records, and just enjoy the analog soul. 🍫🍓

The Lau Ban Niang is professional enough to tell you exactly why your food is cold. The spinach noodles and roast duck were basically refreshing gazpacho, but hey, at least the chili dispenser is "convenient." 
The Won Ton Hor has actual wok hey, and the curry noodles are savory, assuming you like your lunch at room temperature. Just remember to bring a 2-ringgit note if you need the toilet—apparently, the plumbing is premium even if the noodles aren't hot. 🚽✨
